MISSION

 
The mission of Emmaus Spirituality Center is to companion all
who desire to awaken and deepen their relationship with God, self, and others
and to accompany them on their journey of transformation.
 
We strive to provide exceptional opportunities
for in-depth spiritual work and spiritual direction,
and seek to be the institution of choice
to educate future generations of Spiritual Directors.

As Christians we celebrate both endings and beginnings, recognizing that deaths lead to new life.  Such was the case in 2020 when the Cenacle Sisters entrusted their ministries to lay leadership at the Emmaus Spirituality Center.  While the ending and the circumstances that led to the transition were painful for the sisters and the multitude of people whose faith they had nurtured, the new life that has arisen has been greeted with joy and expectation for what lies ahead. 

The Emmaus Spirituality Center cherishes its roots while giving birth to and reinvigorating its spiritual enrichment offerings and formation programs, as well as continuing to offer spiritual direction to all who seek it.  Walking together in faith, endings and beginnings at the Emmaus Spirituality Center help pave the way to new life for all those who cross our threshold.
