Richard is the third of four generations in his family who are Protestant ministers. In 2006, after much discernment he converted to Catholicism. He is a retired psychologist. Both he and his wife are active in their church, St. Cecilia, as well as with volunteer activities including Emmaus Spirituality Center, Martha’s Kitchen, Mamie George Food Distribution Center and the Order of Malta. He has decided that retirement was designed so people could visit their medical doctors much more often!
